SIAA aims to understand and amplify intergenerational Indian-American opinions on policies and social issues in the United States and India.
HOW WE’LL GET THERE:
We will collect and quantify Indian-American attitudes through a matched-pair, 20-minute online survey that will be distributed across the United States. To constitute a complete intergenerational response, both a parent and their child must complete the survey.
Indian-Americans compose the third-largest foreign-born immigrant group in the United States. Given that 2020 is an election year, it is of utmost importance that their perspectives are represented. To date, SIAA is the first effort to compare Indian-Americans’ views on governance and policy in both the United States and India
